Types of Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing We Offer

Our psychological and neuropsychological tests are designed to answer the questions that matter most to you and your family. We offer comprehensive assessments for children, teens, and adults to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and educational or workplace accommodations.

Psychoeducational Evaluations for Academic Challenges

Our psychoeducational evaluations uncover underlying disabilities and academic challenges. If your child is experiencing difficulty with reading, writing, or math, a targeted evaluation can clarify the root issues and guide effective intervention. Read our helpful post on how to get an ADHD diagnosis in NYC, or learn more at CHADD, a trusted resource for families and parents.

Autism & Developmental Differences

Our evaluations for children, teens, and adults assess social communication, sensory processing, and behavioral patterns to provide accurate diagnoses and meaningful recommendations. These assessments are essential for accessing services and accommodations.

Giftedness & IQ Testing

We measure intelligence using the WISC-V, Stanford-Binet among other validated instruments. Whether for school admissions or understanding advanced cognitive abilities, we deliver detailed reports that help inform academic planning.

Accommodations for School and Standardized Exams

We provide the documentation needed for accommodations for school and colleges, on exams like the SAT, ACT, LSAT, GRE, and MCAT, as well as for workplace accommodations. Our evaluations meet the requirements of educational boards of law schools, medical schools and universities.

Diagnostic Clarification for Treatment Planning

Sometimes therapy alone isn’t enough because the underlying diagnosis isn’t clear. When symptoms overlap—like how difficulty concentrating can be from depression, bipolar disorder or something else, it’s essential to get an accurate diagnosis for effective treatment. We help you and your providers understand what’s really going on so treatment can work. Whether you’re exploring the right medication, deciding on therapy approaches, or seeking a second opinion, we provide evidence-based assessments to guide your next steps.

We frequently provide diagnostic clarification for:

  • Mood Disorders and Depression

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Personality Disorders

  • Neurodevelopmental Differences

A clear diagnosis means a more effective treatment plan, and peace of mind.
